Animal rights activists free hippo from circus

Animal rights activists free hippo from circus, hippo gets hit by car, hippo dies. It’s easy to feel bad for the hippo but at least he was free for a couple minutes. How would you like to be the car owner trying to explain this to your insurance company?

  • “Despite weighing 1.5 tonnes Aisha was no match for the Polo driven by a 25-year-old local man, who suffered only light injuries.”

    Her last word was “Marco.”

  • Honestly, I’m so conflicted. I DO feel badly for the poor hippo, but I also want to laugh heartily at the leftist asshattery.

  • "on a road in Villa Potenza, in the Marche region, Cronache Maceratesi reported."

Where the hell was this, Italy? At least we know there are nuts just as weird as our own elsewhere in the world.

  • I would have been impressed if they had a plan to take the animal to an African country and take everything down to its logical conclusion. Releasing the animal into the streets of a metropolitan area and high five one another on a good deed is just idiotic. I did laugh at this because of the idiocy involved, but of course I am sorry the animal had to be a victim of lunacy. Those people need to get sued by the ci.rcus and the driver

  • You would think that someone within Ilse Koch camp would keep her out of the road. Slick Willie must have another intern working at the library and or klingon foundation and he's trying to get rid of the hippo

  • I wonder if calling a hippo fat , is considered a Hate Crime , to the Lunatic Left .

I remember back in the Exxon Valdez accident , the Left adopted an oil covered seal , brought it back to good health and everything .

They had National TV coverage as they were going to release the seal back to the environment . The local school band was playing , all the kids were there . From a deck , or something , they threw the seal into the air over the water . At that exact moment , a killer whale jumped up and swallowed the seal whole , in front of all the cameras and all those children .

It only cost about $ 230,000 for all the care and treatment , this seal received .

    • Waytaminnit. That was the shot Animal Planet or whoever was using to promote Shark Week. We sure your story is fer-shur and not one o' them thar "urban legends"?

  • Too bad it wasn't a "Rino"..I wouldn't feel so bad..So now lets put the animal activists in the circus and make them perform..

    • Agreed. Let's put 'em in cages (the activists) in the freak section of the circus and rent poking sticks to the attending public to poke and prod to their hearts content. "Oh look, Honey. Animal activists. Get the kids and I'll rent some poking sticks."
