      • I agree with you that the Paulifarians are probably Ron's worst liability, but in their defense I will say that I don't believe Creepycrawly is really one of them at all. There's very little he says that lines up with being one of the True Believers, and he says NOTHING that would influence me to regard Ron as a serious candidate for ANYTHING: to the contrary, he has all but killed any favorable opinion I might have had for the man.

        As for Creepy's pet mantra, I just searched it up along with "ron paul" and found this, on "ronpaul.com":

        So Ron's OWN SITE dismisses the idea of c**** g***** as fallacious. This by itself, I think, should prove that Creepy is a Phony. Whether he is simply a misguided halfwit or a leftist agent provocateur who has deliberately set out to strip Mr Paul out of the herd and run him down, or is just a crank with a grudge, who knows? Creepy will never admit the truth, maybe he doesn't even admit it to himself, we just can't know.

        So maybe decide for yourselves whether he is fool or tool, but I would encourage all to not even bother trying to engage him in debate, such is a fool's errand, and as Aesop said of the skunk who challenged the lion, the skunk gets to boast he fought a lion, and all will know for weeks that the lion tangled with a skunk.

        • What most of the people who support Ron Paul have never backed anyone who has gained power, & then disappointed them. Most Dems & GOPers have been let down by their politicians. Ron Paul's followers at some point, will get theirs down the road, & then the reality of modern American politics.

        • But what of one of Ron Paul's core beliefs to Audit and End the Fed. Where he wants to take the power of printing money away from a private entity ("Corporate Greed") and give it back to the federal government per how the constitution says money should be created and backed by gold and silver.

          Also, why are you citing the very same website that you accused Dr. Paul of trying to seize? Surely he must not agree with certain things said on that site if he apparently tried to take it down.

    • Ron Paul didn't get cheated out of anything! He was NOT elected by the people as our choice for the Republican ticket, put on your big boy pants and GTFU over it already. The only thing more annoying then Obama, are a you sniveling Ron Paul deciples wailing about how he was cheated out of the nomination. Now go play in traffic.

  • My biggest complaint with the them is that they wouldnt take the communist to the woodshed and just wear him out. Until the republicans stop doing the next man up, putting up RINOs and those unwilling to just get down and dirty. They will never win another Presidential election again.

    The blue bloods have to understand we the average American have no problem with getting into the trenches and doing the mud slinging and bloody noses that have to be bloodied. Just look at what der leader did to comrade Klintons. He beat them down and shut them up. Willy then returned the favor by riding into PA and saving the day for the asshole. All in hopes that the barry machine will return the favor for the hildabeast in 16. Useful IDIOT.!!

    • Romney & McCain were both WAAAAY harder on other Republicans seeking the nomination then they were agaist Obama. They wanted to play nice, & not be called racist. So they went into the general election campaign disarmed. Being nice does'nt work with progressives, & this needs to be drilled into the heads of candidates who go agaisnt them.

    • I completely agree! The dems have exploited republicans for as long as I can remember. They use the Alinsky handbook or variations of it, knowing full well that the blue bloods will not fight back. They would rather "lose honorably" than fight. So the other side exploits that, cheats, lies and manipulates, and the repubs "take it like a man".

      That is BS!! I am sick of that. Honor says that YOU don't cheat and lie, but that does not mean that you roll on your back like the beta puppy. If you are faced with a dirty fighter, you have every right to stand up. You have every right to call them on it. And, if you are a politician you have the OBLIGATION to so that.

      The election was not about Romney - it was about the American people who backed him. He failed us all because of his stupid pride or phoney humility. Now just go away Romney. You failed.

        I like https://duckduckgo.com/ and https://ixquick.com/, but for some searches Google just can't be beat. Now ixquick has a sister site, https://startpage.com/eng/ that's a straight google search with total privacy. No little search habits and personal data or ISPs for google to hoard.

        Sorry if that was tmi or beneath you, that was my inner geek trying to crawl out from behind my formerly blue collar and I love to share ;)

        • Thanks, I've been on Ixquick for quite a while a now, always on its more secure setting, and perhaps that's part of why, as you say, you just have to use Google or maybe Bing to find what you're looking for. I've seen the Duck, I think it's the default engine for my SRWare Iron (a build of Chrome with the Googleware stripped out), but I was never sure about it.
          I recollect seeing Ix's "startpage" feature but have largely ignored it; now that I know what it is I'll be sure to use it those times Google seems to be required.

  • It's difficult to unseat any sitting president. With the way the demographics in our country are going, it's a mystery to me why Romney thought he had a lead he could just sit on like a "prevent defense" as Bonfire said. I don't really care much for the prevent defense in actual football. A team is stopping the other team the whole game and then they go to a jelly-like defense and the game tightens up.

    • I'd say because idiots like Karl Rove were calling the election for Romney, very smugly I might add. I watched his post defeat meltdown on Fox. He was so disgusting I thought about putting a boot through the screen. Now this moron thinks he's the only one who can save the Republican Party. IMHO he doesn't have anything on the Dems for doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.

      • I am not disputing that the media was in the tank for Obama, however, IMHO there was HUGE voter fraud that has been quietly swept under the rug. That pisses me off more then the uberly biased media!

  • Seriously? Who was it that didn't go after Obama for Benghazi after he creamed him in the first debate? Who was it that approved Obama MSM stooges like Candy Crapface as debate moderators? Who was it that didn't go and attack Obama (in spite of the BOMBARDMENT of BS coming from the SOB) because he wanted to look like a nice guy? Your campaign was run like a football team that went into a prevent defense 3 points ahead with 10 mins left in the 4th quarter. And frankly, if you DIDN'T realize that the media would be slobbering over the plastic messaiah and HATING YOU after the last 5 years and NOT make plans to compensate for that, I don't know what the hell you were thinking nor what the hell you were using to think with.

    Really, blaming the media would be like Eisenhower blaming the Nazis for shooting at the Allies if D-Day failed. THE MSM IS PART OF THE DEMOCRAT PARTY! Please GOP, either get some candidates who understand this and are ready to combat it or stop wasting our effing time.

    • Agree, but the MSM is still a powerful force for the uninformed and yes, they always back the democrat. Many cerdited the media with electing Obama in the first place. They used to at least be subtle about it but not anymore.
      I agree completely - the GOP must prepare for battle with the MSM as if it were their opponent, because it is. The blame, though, doesn't lie with the MSM; it lies with candidates who cower to them.
