Another day, another gaffe for the most intellectual President ever: This time President Professor demonstrated an inability to discern between Great Britain and England. Although he is pretty certain that they are both among the 57 states and one of them might even be in Asia where Austrian is spoken as the main language and the Navy Corpse-men have a major training facility.

  • It's tiresome how Bush, Palin, Bachmann, Perry, Reagan and Quayle are or have been portrayed as dumb while most of Obama's frequent gaffes are covered up.

    • Yeah, but just keep hammering on the media bias. Either it will turn around, or more media giants will be sold for a buck.

  • Oh, and regarding the "English Embassy": to his credit, after he said it, he hemmed and hawed and dilleyed and dallied a bit, lacking a teleprompter, but he did correct himself to say "The Embassy of the United Kingdom."

          But this time He, " the one" was embarrassed, rather than us being embarrassed about him. Its a nice change up. :)

    • As much as I HATE to say this.... Unfortunately he wasn't being snubbed... You can see it on his face, he doesn't get his normal 9 yr old pissy look on his face... Plus he doesn't stretch his arm far enough after the first one, I think that was a memory fail on his part tho, looks like he went in for a handshake first then just went to introductions.

        • Ok, I think the hand drop after the second snub gives it away. He was snubbed by the first two, then he didn't really try with the last two.

          • Holy Cold Shoulder, Batman! Wow. Dunno what to make of this. First time through, I was thinking they ffnng BITCHSLAPPED him. Watched it again, and thought No, he;s not holding his hand out to shake, he's gesturing in introduction for the guy behind him to shake hands. And that was the top couple of comments on Youtube. But then others are noting that's Medvedev who is going down the line shaking hands, why would Sock Puppet be introducing him in his own country??? So...I dunno. Maybe ASIH is closest, 3 floors up. At any rate, he does NOT look happy, and that's something to cherish.

          Apon further reading I discovered that was only a pipe dream.

          I do keep hoping that one day somebody pops up under Olivia saying " Gotcha!" or something to explain that its all been a colossal joke.
