AP retracts story

AP retracts story. Originally the AP reported that “mass graves” of children were found at a Catholic orphanage in Ireland; and the church refused to baptize them and give them Christian burials because they were born of unwed mothers; and most of the bodies were found in a septic tank. Now the AP admits the children were baptized and given Christian burials, and also admits they aren’t sure any bodies were in the old septic tank.

  • Uhm... okay first of all... why write this story to begin with?

Aren't there like Muslims killing children NOW and abducting them and raping them and bombing their homes and schools and murdering their parents?

    Where are the priorities...?

    • I think you hit on something important. This piece was likely originally written as a feeble attempt at moral relativism. IOW, the Catholics do horrible things too so lay off the Muslims.

      • You are probably right that is the goal here. Was this written by a Muslim or a person married or somehow part of the Muslim community? I just don't see the purpose for there is no reason to bring this up.

Let's assume the story was actually true, which it wasn't. Seriously?!?!

They can't be THIS stupid to imagine that this is in any way equitable to what the Muslims are doing around the world.

Everything from slavery, to using children as bombs to all kinds of horrible human atrocities... how is this in ANY way truly the same as that?

It seems to me that the most horrible part of this story if true (it wasn't) was that they weren't blessed and that some were in septic tanks. I grant you HORRIBLE, but wow... They need to research what Muslims do to orphans. In many of these countries they are not considered people.

Some of these libs are not very G-d oriented so what do they care if the babies weren't blessed? It is just such a bogus story and IT IS a bogus story.

  • But other than the fact they were wrong about, well, EVERYTHING, the story is true and they stand by it.

  • It seems that the nice people at All Propaganda are trying to catch up to NBC in the making shit up department. You have a better chance of getting something useful from News of the World, then these hacks.

  • Retraction printed on Page 39-F.

      • Read the article. It is now unclear that anything improper happened at all. In other words -- simple anti-Catholic/anti-Christian propaganda.
