Appeal in boy’s burp arrest case relies on Gorsuch dissent. Here’s a classic why we hate the media, in this case Associated Press. They’re making a big deal over Gorsuch when they should be railing at the asininity of arresting a child for burping and the fact it’s going all the way to the Supreme Court. A "step too far"? Arresting that boy was something FAR MORE than a step too far. Even if there was no intention to go all the way with the arrest, the act alone was in my opinion, barbaric at the very least ignorant of the law and stupid... in the middle it was dangerous. The teacher's inability to exercise her authority righteously to stop an idiot child from disrupting her class is disgusting. Reaching out to the police due to lack of knowing what else to do is appalling. Seriously? Even if the parents are negligent, you do something else other than calling the cops. Anyway... this story is ALL about how this reporter in particular and the media in general hates Gorsuch just because he is a Trump appointee..
Seriously? The fact that a child was ARRESTED and went through the awful experience due to being an idiot, is not the story here? That serious lack of understanding of the Constitution and the laws is just incredible.

Nothing like wasting time, and a ton of money on bullshit like this...Arrest for burping? I can not imagine how stupid the cop was in this instance, or the school.
If only the kid had the forethought to become Muslim and bring a hoax bomb to school.
I think he was arrested if I am not mistaken or at least placed in handcuffs and though I do believe that it may have been a traumatic experience, that fool knew exactly what he was doing. Bringing something like that to school to "show off" knowing very well that it looks like a bomb, and AFTER being told not to show it to anyone else, and doing it anyway... come on. He is at the very least suspicious, the arrest made sense.
