• He can still win another election here in Minnesota. Hate to say it, but I think if he stays put, enough time will go by & he will win another term.

  • If nothing comes out of this shitstorm, most likely. My cousin lives in Minnesota and it's one of the lesser known liberal havens in the country. She and her husband lean so far left they have trouble standing upright.

    • People were supposed to laugh at those Stuart Smalley segments but I always thought they were creepy.

      I guess they were creepy enough that people said to themselves, "Hey, this guy should be a senator."

    • What we really need are term limits. Two terms for Senators. Six terms for Representatives and then a term in prison for most of them.

• He won't quit, he's addicted to the power; the Senate will have to throw him out, but that would set a bad precedent, so ultimately it's going to be up the voters to purge Franken.
