As IRS scandal snowballs, Wayne Root feels vindicated. A former classmate of Obama’s at Columbia and relentless critic of the president’s policies, Root has been trying to tell people since January of 2011 that Obama sicced the IRS on him for revenge. No doubt the NAACP will announce that Mr. Root deserves the audits because his name is a racist thinly-veiled mockery of Kunta Kinte.

"What is the purpose of auditing people that don’t raise red flags on their own?"
Keeps Obama's opponents busy. Notice how the Billy Graham audits ended right after the election. Meanwhile, instead of participating in the election process they were busy dealing with the IRS.
Wow... for that to be worthwhile the IRS was doing NOTHING with the paperwork requested and received other than to file and let it gather dust. It is still lame and it should be illegal.
What is the purpose of auditing people that don't raise red flags on their own? Is it a fishing expedition to see IF there is something that should have raised red flags if someone was going through their records with a fine tooth comb. In order to what? smear them or take away their credibility? Isn't that too much work? I mean it seems like a lot of work just to try to make someone look bad. Someone really needs to have some serious love for paperwork and numbers to get into that. I don't even think IRS agents are that paper and number hungry. I just find this lame.
George Soros and Vallerie Jarrett are the real sock puppet masters here and we need to keep that in mind while we pop our pop corn and watch the annointed one dangle.
Looks like Prez. Quagmire is getting his chance to experience Murphy's Law of thermo-dymanics. Once you open a can of worms, the only way to re-can them is to get a bigger can.
I just saw some friends at lunchtime, and the biggest thing that we feel we can take away from this whole thing is that FINALLY we don't look like a bunch of conspiracy-theory nutcases!!
That's how I feel. None of this is a surprise to me. It's almost boring because I've read all this stuff in the past. But now I can't be pigeonholed as a conspiracy theory whacko.
hah, I'll feel vindicated when they admit there was no AR-15 in Newtown and let the FOIA roll on Boston, too.
Jebus effin xmas, between this and government 'so vast' and the other story here about Sock Puppet's brother getting his retroactive tax exemption (not to mention illegal alien relatives) -- I think we have more or less officially joined the Third World.
Perhaps the military needs to forcibly overthrow the autocracy. After all those who enlist are sworn to protect the Constitution as well are they not? It seems beyond evident not only that the constitution is under attack but also the parties attacking it assumed their current positions of power under false pretenses and are in gross violations of their oaths.
I have certainly wished that this was a possibility, but I'm afraid Ike and Patton really are dead and our current military elite is just as disinterested in the Constitution as the politicians are. It would be a great Quentin Tarantino movie though.
We're all going to need scorecards by this afternoon to keep track of the players in ScandalGate.
In the article it mentions all the Mormons in Utah that were suddenly audited last year after Romney won the nomination. You're right, every ten minutes there's another story about someone Obama doesn't like getting harassed by the IRS.
