That Chick-fil-A boycott is really working out well. People all over are flocking to Chick-fil-A to say flock you to the boycotters. The boycott? Fail!

    • In n Out has had the scripture on the bottom of their cups since I was a little kid. That was a LONG time ago, when I was a regular customer at the original shop in Baldwin Park, CA. It's a family owned business, and super high quality in both the food and the people who work there. When I left the West Coast for a while, I couldn't wait to get back to In n Out.

        3. Jack in the Box
        Now, in reality, we had Jack in the Box in Texas when I lived there, but to have that with In and Out and Tommy, all in close proximity, that would be heaven!

  • I went Tuesday, expecting that the lines would be rather long Wednesday.

    Yesterday afternoon, I did a search for CFA line. It was crazy, all over the country, with news outlets showing pictures, video. I felt really good about it. Can you say,....backfired?

    Of course, in the comments section for the Phoenix paper, which showed an aerial view of the building, with a line going across the parking lot, there was an idiot liberal stating that it was obviously staged.
    "They had to have bussed these people in from somewhere, you can see that there are empty parking spaces right near the door."

    Of course, a liberal wouldn't have been smart enough to see that the spaces near the door were not accessible, because of the line of cars in the drive-thru, snaking out onto the street.

    Yeah, they bussed in hundreds of people, rotating them through all day, in hundred degree-plus heat, at CFAs all over the country. Right. Now, if it were a liberal cause, I might believe that. They do things like that.

  • I'd go find a KFC before I ever stood in that line. But I don't have time to make political statements based on fast food choices.

      • Let them protest and kiss, it's their free speech right. If we complain about that after their problem with the owner of CFA's statment about marriage then we're no better than they are.

      • Local talk radio host JD Wells had a great idea. He said that if you go there tomorrow and see someone kissing...turn your back and give them some privacy.

        I cannot think of anything they would hate more than being ignored.

          • Water toss might arouse their litigious nature, but then anything might do that, I suppose. Hey, at least it ain't like the moslems do it, since they'd toss acid in their faces, then they'd hang em or throw them into a well stoked fire.

  • There are multiple issues here:

    1st Amendment allows for Freedom of Belief and Speech and Religion, etc. Do I care if the same sex marriages are allowed in NY? No, I do not. Will GA support it? No, my State will not, thankfully.

    Same goes for abortion, which I absolutely do not support. Its murder.

    If NJ wants to allow partial birth abortions up to the third trimester can they do it? Yes they can; they will suffer the consequences, of course, but that's the state's choice. You don't like it, move to GA because we will ultimately not allow it except under the most extreme conditions: Rape and Incest.

    Ronald Reagan, who I personally met in 1988, said you can vote with your feet. You don't like GA laws or NJ laws, them move to where your beliefs are juxtaposed with you nextdoor neighbor.

    Now, with the militarization of local police depts, UN Agenda 21 (sustainable developement) and other Federalized cancers upon state and local governments we are not afforded many choices. You know what I mean by that .

    Get armed and ready and grow your local armies. It will be 'go time' soon.

    I am not surgar coating this bullshit anymore. Wake the F_ _ _ Up!.

  • Just a quick note to the Washington Post, NYT, Newsweek and Time ... you know what they call patrons of Chick-Fil-A?

    Customers.

    You may want to smarten up a bit before you go out of business. Having a stand is one thing ... being around to espouse it is another. May I humbly suggest that you treat conservatives (i.e. customers!) better.

    Just a thought.

  • My nephew and I went to the mall for lunch today, it's the only Chick-Fil-A in my area. The food court was packed, the line at CFA was at least 30 deep at each of the 3 stations.
    We gave up waiting because we had too much to do, I will go back tomorrow.

  • Unfortunately there's no Chick-fil-A here in the Milwaukee metro area for me to patronize. But my hat is off to everyone who made this day a roaring success.

    Sorry Rahm, there are still Americans who believe in free speech and will not be intimidated by you or any other political thug. You showed us the "Chicago way", we showed you the American way.

  • The one in Fairfield, CA ran out of food already and closed up. They're giving people coupons for when they come back.
