U.S. Capitol Suspect Miriam Carey Believed Obama Electronically Monitored Her

Capitol Suspect Miriam Carey Believed Obama Electronically Monitored Her: No Obama was not personally electronically monitoring this woman. But people that worked for him (and programs under his direction) did. Just like is being done to all of us. A responsible media would be pointing this our right now. But there is no responsible media. So we’ll just have to do it for them.

Seven stupid things the gov’t spent money on during the shutdown

Seven stupid things the gov’t spent money on during the shutdown: From “new websites to tell visitors that they don’t have enough funding to run their old websites” to “posting park rangers at the WWII memorial to prevent rogue veterans from getting in” this is your government at work even when it is not supposed to be at work.

Tyranny of the Minority

Tyranny of the Minority-Note to GOP: You lost the last election, get over it. One of the failings of democracy is that it can under serve the minority opinions within a system. This becomes severely problematic when the majority decides to use the power of the vote to remove the property and restrict the rights of those in that minority. That is not entirely what is going on with Obamacare. Sure our property is being removed. Sure our choices are going away. Sure our bodies are being nationalized. But this is being done against the will of the majority. As for elections, this Congress was chosen by three of them. And, unlike the President, they were elected to control the purse strings.

Nixon and Kissinger’s Forgotten Shame

Nixon and Kissinger’s Forgotten Shame: News flash for the Op-ed at the NYT. Right now there is a man in the White House that is reading your emails. Listening to your phone calls. Using the IRS to silence political opposition. Taking trillions from the tax payer to give to his friends. All while fighting his ass off to defend legislation that essentially nationalizes our bodies. We’ve heard enough about Nixon to last fourteen-thousand lifetimes. Perhaps you could focus on the man that has done more harm in just over one term than Nixon could have done in those fourteen-thousand lifetimes.

Where Is the Panic Over Deflation?

Where Is the Panic Over Deflation? We can tell you where it is not. It is not at the grocery store. It is not at the gas pump. It is not in our electric bill, water bill, cable bill or any other bill. It is not in our health care costs, the Doctor’s Office, Walmart, Kmart, Costco, Best Buy, the farmers market, the stock market, The Boston Market and of course there is no longer any free market. Yet Jason Wolfers (over at Bloomberg) is telling us that “the U.S. is experiencing deflation” and “Right now, the risk of deflation is greater than the risk of explosive inflation. And the probability of continuing to undershoot the inflation target is far greater than the probability of overshooting it“. Something tells us that when the current Fed inflated market bubble bursts this guy will be among the first to tell us that “no one could have seen it coming”.

POPSCI:Republicans Block Proposal For National Science Laureate, Fearing Science

POPSCI: Republicans Block Proposal For National Science Laureate, Fearing Science. As avid readers of this publication it has pained us to watch the new editor steer it away from being a magazine for those enjoying a little light science to being a pulpit for the DNC. But in consideration for our years of fondness for these guys we would like to offer the following advice. If the science goes so will the popularity. And from a look at the comments the exodus has already begun.

Chris Hayes Unloads on Gun Nut ‘Gun-Free Zones’ Argument

Chris Hayes Unloads on ‘Gun-Free Zones’ Argument: Apparently Chris Hayes does not believe that “good guys with guns” can’t stop “bad guys with guns”. This theory is clearly bore out by the massive number of mass murderers that have been subdued through group hugs and intense dialogues on their feelings.

FBI Released ‘Seeking Information’ Poster

FBI Released ‘Seeking Information’ Poster for Suspected Navy Yard Shooter Aaron Alexis: We thought the reason Obama needed the power to spy on all of us was so they’d already have this information when it was needed. You know the whole freedom versus security argument would be a lot more compelling if their confiscation of the former ever resulted in the latter.
