Targeting 2% inflation – of course, now other countries will now have to inflate [devalue their currency] in order for their exports to remain competitely priced. Q: Imagine a street intersection with 4 gas stations, one on each corner. If a price war breaks out, which station owner will “win”? A: The stupidest owner with the most money to lose.

The big question now is whether the Eurozone or Japan will be the first to go belly up. I only worry about this because our own domestic Progressives are so addicted to playing 'Follow the Leader' that they will demand we jump down the same rathole as soon as possible.
