Banking Chief Calls For 15% Looting of Italians’ Savings. First Cypress, now this. We wonder how long before the wacko birds in the Obama administration think this is a terrific idea? This reinforces the validity of the bumper sticker below. You can name your own government.

Why we need banks anyways just pay off your shit. At this point a mason jar full of money buried under your best dog seems safest way to keep your cash! lol just today i started thinkin how could i do that. just like 3 money orders for like phone, dish and power. can drive down to pay insuance. no mas bank. plus most people i deal like cash or trade anyway!
Teach your kids to save their money. Yeah right, what's the lesson here? You might as well piss it away before the government takes it away. The deadbeats (and politicians) are laughing their asses off at the responsible people.
I'm heavily invested in cash, silver, and scrap metals like copper, aluminum, brass, and steel. It's all kept in my home safe or storage unit.
When the economy crashes, metals may be the only way to conduct trade.
Yannow. This is complete BS, but on the other hand, the Euro-weinies think this progressivism, socialism, communism, whatever they call it today to bullshit the LOFO's, is just peachy. They've been voting for it by large majorities, so how do you like it now? I wonder if they are stupid enough to think that the ruling class in these progressive/socialist/communist utopias haven't emptied their personal bank accounts and thus wont be subject to the confiscation. Yep progressivism et al is for every one else of course.
They all got tipped off, you can bet it.
Well the wealthy did. I magine the Joe the Plumber types lost a boatload. What amazes me is that American voters have seen multiple COUNTRIES go bancrupt and yet they still want us to follow suit. Amazingly stupid.
It's all because of the Obama compliant media. They are trying to keep us focused on guns while they plan to steal our money, then once they have our money, they will keep us focused on that while they steal the guns!
I really enjoyed the solutions from Iceland. I have often wondered why those that caused the problem, often through criminal enterprise not only walked away unscathed but many walked substantially richer. The idea of "to big to fail" is just wrong. So how about we arrest the perpetrators and bail out the victims. Then, rather than perpetually trying to emulate "the Great EU" we try the "Icelandic Solution". Why Not...
the following from the article:
Instead of protecting the bankers responsible for the crisis while pillaging the people who bear no responsibility whatsoever for the debt, Cyprus should be following in the footsteps of Iceland.
Instead of bailing out bankers, Iceland arrested them. Instead of targeting its population with brutal austerity measures, Iceland paid off people’s underwater mortgages. Iceland also allowed people to pay off debts in foreign currency, which were declared illegal, with the devalued krona.
The result was that Icelanders had more money in their pocket, reinvested it into the economy and now the country has enjoyed a miracle financial turnaround.
The Cypriot government has seemingly chosen a different option – selling out its people to the gaping jaws of the European Union and the IMF and setting the stage for years of economic turmoil, civil unrest and dependency on a financial dictatorship which benefits not from stability but from sustained chaos.
Somebody in Cyprus is getting paid off on this one.
A lot of somebodies,
Hey crowley, fuck you & your "corporate greed bullsh!t.
Stick that straight up where it hurts.
Nice pre-emptive strike on Crowley, danybhoy. The idiot is so predictable!
Of course he is.
Thank me!
You're welcome.
Just the tip of the iceberg in the EU. If they can get away with this kind of robbery in Italy, the merry band of thieves will move on to Spain, Greece, Portugal, and even merry old England.
Time to invest in precious metals like copper and lead.
The WBs of the BO administration already think asset confiscation is a great idea, but that the time is not quite rght to admit it publicly.
