Bonfire of the Absurdities: After 35 year career writing software for IBM mainframes, am now self-employed contractor thinking of joining a union and striking for higher wages. Amateur investor who has accumulated a small fortune in the market after starting out years ago with a large one. For recreation, I run, hike, kayak and play tennis but will not consider synchronized swimming under any circumstances.

  • The thing is, nearly every liberal I speak to claims to have never SEEn any of this stuff! How can they be that ignorant and think they aren't out of touch with reality?

  • Painful...watching this makes me think how these poor people in east Europe must feel when watching documentaries about the soviet times. How did these corrupt lying sociopaths get into power???

    • The same way that Hitler got elected . The same way Jim Jones led his believers to the promise land . When you're morally lacking , when you're intellectually lacking , anything is possible .
