• This has been a known secret from the very beginning. Stevens was in Benghazi in an attempt to figure out where the weapons had gone and who in the hell had them. Sadly and tragically he found out not only who had them, but what they intended to do with them. Steven was left out in the wind in order to cover quagmire's ass.

• Of course they were running guns. This not a new story, & because the MSM is trying their best to not cover this story, it's barely a news story.

• Unfortunately, arms/drugs/contraband dealing, international banking, and human trafficking are why anyone has ambassadors. Okay, some of it has to do with our safety, but... it's questionable who creates the actual UN-SAFETY to begin with!! I mean, WTF are we arming enemies? The enemy-of-my-enemy doesn't even qualify in most instances in the Middle East/North Africa/SW Asia theaters.

  And yes, 007 James Bond gets killed sometimes, too.

  The reality is, no high-level politician is ever gonna take the heat for covert operations, except in very rare historic moments.

• That was the whole reason behind letting those 4 poor bastards die, to cover up Quagmire's little arms smuggling deal. They were there to give the Muslim Brotherhood advanced weapons, and the Libyan rebels found out and went in and grabbed them instead.
  I bet the nice ISIS boys are using them as I type this.

• With her track record for having people dying around her, would you want to be the one to ask Hillary about weapons?

• Don't illegal activities fall under one of two categories:

  2. Classified.

• Funny you should mention that. At one point when I was listening in while driving, HRC claimed that lots of weapons were seized by US/UN/coalition forces. Not one committee member asked her what became of those weapons. I couldn't believe it.

  • They were focused on a lot of other things... this entire situation is very complex, much more so than initially thought.

    • It's not complex at all. They were running military arms to our enemies. TREASON. The entire administration should be drug out into the street and shot.

USMC (Ret) who went through a bunch of crap in the 80's for something way tamer than this (at least we still had the tail-end of the Cold War* then). North? By Northwest? And then the Dems stepped in it by giving him an open forum thinking they had him by the brass.

        *miss the Cold War, at least then we knew who the bad guys were.
