• Occupoopers protesting? Time to break out the water cannon, and give them a much needed bath.

• Another speaker, Rabbi Jonathan Klein of Clergy and Laity United for Economic Justice, led a prayer asking that God help Karsh say no to the Kochs, whose "hostile takeover" of the Times would lead to less diversity and more pollution, animal cruelty and poverty in Los Angeles.

  You have GOT to freaking kidding, right?

  I mean, we ARE talking about the cesspool that is L.A.

  • I saw the rabbi's quote and I'm wondering how the purchase of a newspaper will result in more "animal cruelty". Are the Koch brothers proposing to print the LAT on animal skins?

    • I think it will be less cruelty to animals. The poor birds who have to read that propaganda right now, while it lines their cages, would probably enjoy the opportunity to peck the heads of all those idiots who are protesting,

• Wow, 60 to a 100 demonstrators in a city of millions protesting the sale of a newspaper owed by one millionaire to two other millionaires.

  I wonder what they would say if Al Jezeera was the potential buyer.

  • Occupy s nothing more than Astroturf protesters to gull the critically thinking challenged into believing that their voices are being heard. I think it's time to set up another "protest" against the Keystone Pipeline because Barry would love the opportunity to respect "our" first amendment rights.
