• Questions: Which god is he talking about? Which heaven or paradise is he speaking of? What afterlife is he talking about?

  If he is talking about the Judeo-Christian afterlife, Heaven and G-d then no, that is not how it works out. You can't EARN your salvation according to Christ, as He earned it for us. Seriously Bloomie you have no idea what you are up against. You need to sit down and talk to someone...

• Yeah - according to the bible the root of all sin is pride - that's what led to the fall of satan. Humility is essentially recognizing we are ourselves incapable of salvation without God's grace. Bloomberg's statement is itself disgraceful. Not that I can judge but I think he's going to be in for a rude awakening......

• Dear Mr. Bloomberg,

  I don't know what religious doctrine you have been taught, but please know that no one (and that means even you) "earns" the right to be in heaven. It is a gift from God that you have to accept while still here on earth. Which should also answer your other question: yes--there is a God. Please pick up a Bible and, if nothing else, read the Book of John.

  • His religious doctrine is the doctrine of "I'm a rich leftist that knows better than you do what's right for you, so shut up and do as I say".

  • I do not think Jews believe in heaven or hell. Those are Christian concepts.

    • Some do, some don't. Some believe in a resurrection, some don't. Those who don't believe in Heaven feel they are commanded to do lots of charitable acts during this lifetime. Hence so many buildings, schools. hospital wings, etc with Jewish donors. Still doesn't earn them heaven.

    • Some Jews do believe in an afterlife and some believe in the resurrection. Other Jews are indeed Christians and they are most certainly still very much Jewish. Interestingly enough Judaism is not monolithic and there are many denominations.

  Yet again he travels with fully armed retired or former NYPD officers. His bitch ass came here and gave some lame speech at the states flagship university about his agenda. A few of us who had the misfortune to draw the security detail for this show asked "how it is that all of your people are totally armed, yet you wish to deny that same right to the average citizen?" My Lt was close by and I thought she was going to explode, but smiled and gave me a sly wink.
