  • I have come to notice than when Democrats hover over a story trying to get it to go away there is something there that HAS to be investigated... when they hover over a story that they want to hype, it is usually garbage.

      This story is building momentum, with people coming out and admitting now that they worked with Seth Rich to facilitate his leaking of the emails to WikiLeaks.

      I can see why you and the WP want to disbelieve this story. One, it shows that the DNC is responsible for its own misery. And two, it completely pulls the rug out from under the Russian conspiracy nonsense Democrats have been hysterical about ever since the election.

    • Your linked Washington Post article claims that Fox News was wrong in reporting that the investigator was hired by the family, but actually Fox is closer to the truth than the WP: the "conservative" in Texas offered the family to pay for an investigator, then the family hired him. From the Washington Examiner:

      "Later in the day, Rich family spokesman Brad Bauman told NBC News the Fox News report was bogus. Bauman said Ed Butowsky, a conservative Dallas-based financial adviser, reached out to the family months ago with an offer to pay for a private investigator to look into Rich's death. The family agreed and paid Rod Wheeler, a former D.C. homicide detective, to look into the July 10 murder."

      Notice that the family, in the process of calling Fox wrong, verifies that they hired the investigator. They just didn't pay for it.

      So as you can clearly see, by the family's own words, it's the WP who is guilty of spreading fake news. Which shouldn't be a surprise to you--the WP has broken some huge inflammatory anti-Trump stories lately that they had to back off of when they were disproven. The WP has always been liberal, but lately they've gone off the rails and don't seem interested in fact checking at all.

    • Wow, a newspaper owned by Jeff Bezos (whom I like better than I like Trump but is nonetheless financially invested in seeing the President's failure) violates Occam's razor in both directions.

          • That congress has no integrity might be a novel concept to you, but the rest of us are fully aware and have been for some time now.

  • We all need to remember that there were two deaths involved here. An investigative reporter and Wikileaks director in the UK who Seth Rich was communicating with, Gavin MacFadyen, also died last year. He was old and supposedly died of lung cancer but the fact that both parties to the leaking of these emails ended up dead within months of each other in an election year is certainly weird.

    • Very weird indeed... I just find it interesting that seemingly always in deaths of this nature the fault always goes back to the victim... he was old... he was sick, he didn't take care of himself, he was suicidal, he left his door or window opened, etc...

  • Wilkow has been reminding his listeners for some time about this story. When Assange said it WAS NOT Russians who supplied the info he dumped about Hillary & Podesta, it was Rich who is the odds on favorite to have been the mailman. The bit about his death being imvolved with a robbery, is BS. Nothing of value was taken according to reports, so it is probable that he was killed over politics.
