• Perhaps Armageddon really IS on the way. Armageddon is actually a battleground in the Middle East, and it appears its going to get mighty busy here shortly.

    • i'll confess, not willing to die for Israel.. We can help them, sure, but who's going to fight this war you think it would be better to just get over with? My boys in 10 years? I'd prefer, if they must, that they die defending the U.S. Not a fan of Revelations-based foreign policy either

      • Well Alien, I figure the next major conflict will be a world war. I think it is better to side with folks who actually have the will to win than with the folks WITHOUT the political will.
        EVERY conflict we are/have been involved with since WW2 could have or can be won.
        Our "leaders" just lack the will to do so. Wonder why that is.

        • World wars are bad for global trade.. Powerful forces will seek to isolate conflicts to more regional scope. Post WW2-era also neatly overlaps with atomic/nuclear era and this puts a damper on total warfare.

          Its remarkable to imagine that nations could pour everything they had into long-running conflicts.. that is, until technology unleashes unimaginable horrors, new media reveal more of the suffering, and populations resist full mobilization/war footing

• Not only the Iranians but the Russians as well. It now appears it was the brotherhood who used chemical weapons.

  Israel won't permit Iran that close to their borders. They will move further in to Syria and position themselves at the Syrian side of the Golen Heights. Thank you der leader and Hildabeast. This complete cluster is on your hands.

• Not going to believe it until I see pictures of him demised. If that was to happen, the Iranians would just walk in and set up shop anyway.

• His bodyguards are terrible shots! if you are a bodyguard and are close enough to cap a guy, and you can get a head/heart shot, you suck and should be in a different line of work!

  • I doubt the rebels will be any better. The primary moderate among the rebels just quit and skedaddled, leaving the Islamists totally in charge. Obama's Arab Spring continues...
