  • Leave it up to the amature stand up comic in the WH to talk about the downing of flight MH17, then shortly there after attempt to tell a lames ass joke.

    No crisis can interfer with quagmires fund raising, golf or Reggie time. Now there are at least 23 more dead Americans who have died at the hands of terrorist. Now even quagmires staunchest supporters are questioning his action(see Carl Levin).

    The Israelies are defending themselves from terrorist. They are being lectured by Heniz-Kerry about restraint on the civilian population in Gaza. Well guess what there "I served in Vietnam Heniz-Kerry" they have. It's Hamas who's shown no restraint. It's Hamas who are using civilians as shields. It's Hamas who had their missles found in a damn UN run school. So there Heniz-Kerry who is it that's showing restraint and who is not?

  • Pravda.ru published the tweets pf a Spanish air traffic controller working in Kiev - he says that the missle's origin was most likely from Ukraine, and from an area controlled by the Ukrainian army.

    I also read a casual mention that the Ukrainian gov't considers its air space closed.

      • The finger-pointing goes like this:

        Eastern Ukrainian separatists: we don't have the weaponry to shoot down a plane 10 km up.

        Ukraine gov't: we don't have any surface-to-air capability mobilized because we don't need it - the rebels have nothing in the air.

        Yes, they do have it, but claim that the absence of need for it means they did not do it.

        From either side, this could have been a case like the "Jews must register" hoax. That turned out to be some neo-fascists who decided to take it upon themselves to create a P/R issue for the rebels.

  • I am perplexed that this is yet another Malaysian plane... anyone is not freaked out by that?

    Why would anyone gamble with people's lives and fly over a zone like that? Weird.

    But that’s CNBC, so take it with a grain of salt. I really don’t believe U.S. intelligence has satellite coverage of Ukraine that good, so the odds of anybody here knowing that a missile was fired seems improbably low. Still, it is confirmation of a sort.

    We have King Barky the Incompetent and his merry band of idiots on the job. We are in the best of hands people, best of hands. It would not surprise me that this was a "wag the Dog" operation to take the air out of all the other lawlessness of the Obama regime.

  • "Oops! Did I do that?" Erkle and Obama share a lot in common: they're both black, they're both gay, they both like to party on somebody else's dime and they're both way too smart for the other idio...people in the room and of course, I don't think either one of them had anything to do with this.

  • Still unconfirmed that it was shot down. Ukraine would like the world to believe Russians did such a thing, but there's no way to know at this point.

    • If the Ukrainians did it, the Russians are still to blame, they gave them the missiles.

      • Russian launcher, Russians are at fault. Screw all those Russian Countries/ex countries. Let them kill each other off and let God sort them out. No more AMERICANS DYING for these communist and muslim countries, and World Banks, the only profetiers of wars. One world government via the UN needs to be stopped NOW.

          • My thoughts exactly. Only problem is that the best UN troops are from the United States doing the UN's beckoning call to control the world. Secretary of defense declared sometime back to congress that we take orders from the UN not the President of the US. Seeing how the president is now on the lead of the UN security council we may be considered to be FUBAR...but I seriously doubt US troops will fire on American citizens but the Russians in the UN rubble pile will or will try.

          • Then we need to get weapons, preferably quiet/silent weapons, that will prevent them from knowing where we are shooting from.

    • I'm just putting out what's on the news at the moment.

      Could have been a dumb-ass on either side or some 3rd party trying to stir up shit between Russia and Ukraine. It also could be a problem with the plane that is perhaps the same thing that brought the other flight down (if it's the same type of plane - I don't know).
