For liberals, it doesn’t get more heartwarming than this.

Maybe Brian Williams does have pangs of conscience and feel ashamed of what his daughter is doing on HBO. But he dare not say it for fear of committing the unforgivable sin against liberalism: Being "judgmental". Liberals have to pretend the worst art is groundbreaking to fit in at their cocktail parties.
A few years back, ABC asked two art critics what they thought of a piece of art. They scratched their chins while peering intently at the art and gave their opinions of the artist's meaning. After they were done, the correspondent told them that the art had been created by a monkey throwing paint against a blank canvas.
So did the monkey agree with their analysis?

Of course the former newsreader now propagandist for the Obamas is estatic. He thought he failed as a father. His daughter, spoiled and sent to the best schools whether she qualified or not, couldn't find a job so he pulled some strings and got her a bit part playing a spoiled slut on a HBO production. Now she has her own money and he doesn't have to fund her lavish lifestyle all by himself.
Meanwhile, a man's daughter was probably gunned down in Mexico this week with a weapon the Attorney General of the United States wanted to be delivered to a Mexican drug cartel. The girl may have been attending school to be an actress but likely did not have a wealthy father to pay for it. Mr. Williams, former newsreader, has not mentioned that our Attorney General facilitated the girl's murder, or anything at all about the Attorney General's plot. Mr. Williams is just estatic his little girl diddles herself on film. Yea for him. Perhaps he can do another fawning "interview" of our courageous president without ever mentioning the president knew where his target was for almost a year before acting.
Who knows what Brian Williams is actually thinking, I'm sure he's proud of his daughter's acting success but, perhaps, somewhat abashed by its particulars. I don't subscribe to HBO so it's all a tempest in a teapot.
My daughter is a RN overseeing an ICU; she and her two children (and my son-in-law) give me unmitigated joy too.
