British troops advised not to wear uniform outside bases. “Defence sources said the order had been given that uniform should not be worn by those travelling alone, or on public transport as a ‘common sense precaution’ immediately after the killing.” Well, the troops were already told to wear disguises on commercial flights so this is just the next step.

This is amazing. So, the men and women who are in uniform - attempting to provide protection for Great Britain - are now being told NOT to wear their uniform in Public Places in Britain? I'd say it would be time for every British Soldier to don their Uniform - carry every weapon they are able to carry - and shoot on site anyone giving them any kind of "lip." I'd say Great Britain has been invaded, and is well on the way to loosing.

I'd say I can't imagine living somewhere where wearing my uniform off base would feel like having a target painted on me, but if you walk around certain places in Hawaii in uniform, that is exactly how you feel. Still, its a tragic state-of-affairs.
It's like in Jersey, when the Palestinian flag was raised over the town's Town Hall, those guys saying Palestine was their country. My question, why aren't you living THERE then? It wasn't like the guys who killed that soldier on behalf of Afghanistan were actually FROM Afghanistan. They were British-born CONVERTS to Islam.
