If I were his boss, he would be assigned permanent graveyard duty writing parking tickets in empty parking lots, while riding a police bike, in a skirt and high heels, wearing a wig and a squirt gun as his only weapon....
I'm guessing he will immediately retire with his windfall. It would be an unwelcome greeting he gets from he fellow officers, I bet, and who would ever agree to partner with a guy who is known to hide behind his car when the shit goes down?
