Killing 3,000 people and then building a victory mosque close to ground zero is very insensitive to say the least.

Not appropriate behavior at all. If we really want to be Americans we need to start by true tolerance. It is true that muslims did the barbaric acts on 9/11, but innocent muslims shouldn't have to pay the price. I don't want a muslim to blame me for the crusades or a witch to blame me for the salem witch trials or whatever. It is important to not overdo the search for justice, because sometimes it can lead to misjudgements and that is not a good look.

Of course, there cannot be any other houses of worship of ANY other religion in the vicinity.

Sensitivity training is only for conservatives and Christians. Liberals can be as insensitive as they want.

The American people should demand from the muslims that which is demanded by muslims. No bibles in muslim nations ? OK.., no korans in Christian nations. Turnaround is fair play. Islam, by its own design is contrary to the 1st Amendment requiring a separation of Church and State. Since islam is a theocracy, it cannot be considered a Religion. It uses God as a ruse to enforce controls over people lives.

There is no reason to assume from this story that this was anything other than a Muslim man wanting to buy a hamburger -- last I checked, such an activity should be able to be conducted with ridicule, derision or scorn for either the patron or the workers...

From a business standpoint, money is money - be the giver Jewish, Muslim, Christian, Black, Mexican, or a talking moose. If I were the employer, I would probably have this employee fired for such a sick act - it does nothing to improve the face of the company, and only serves to prevent repeat customers (and possibly more).
From the standpoint of being a basic human being, this is just horrible. I'm white - I don't want to be blamed for slavery, apartheid, racism, or anything else I am not personally responsible for. Why should a random Muslim man be targeted for the actions of random other people?
When the "random Muslim man" stands up and condems the actions of the few radicals I will start to listen. Until then? Who cares what they think or how they get treated.
You need to talk to Persians of the Baha"i faith, christians from Iran, who have immigrated here to get away from religious persecution. Listen to them tell all about how the "religion of peace" treated them in their own country. Only then will you understand why so many christians of Arabic descent have migrated here. Only then will you understand why radical Muslims want to destroy us and our way of life.

When Americans, who happen to belong to the Muslim faith, start standing up and fighting with other Americans against terrorism of any kind, no matter where it comes from, I will start trusting those same Muslims. I talk with Iraqi Christians all the time. Many of them have settled in the El Cajon area of San Diego, where I live. They are good people, uprooted from their homeland by Islamic hatred.
I have friends who are Iraqi. But they're not running around blowing shit up and they can't wait for the short dude in the Members Only jacket to croak. Their families had to flee Iraq courtesy of Jimmy Carter.
I have a friend, long time ago she was, anyway - who was temporarily married to an Iraqi fellow. They were pictured in a national magazine at a 'freedom' rally with her wearing a tee shirt that said "F--- You Mr. President!" (the shirt was not censored) during the early 80s. She was very much a lefticle. He bounced her like a superball after he established his U.S. citizenship.
