CA PROPOSES LAW TO FORCE INSURANCE TO COVER HOMOSEXUAL ‘INFERTILITY.’
Two men who have sex with each other for a year and do not produce a baby would be considered “infertile” under the proposed legislation. So would two women having sex.
Well it looks like the California legistature has set a new world’s record for stupid. Can someone please call the Guiness Book of World Records? We can’t stop laughing and crying long enough to dial.

Fertility treatments for people whom it's biologically impossible to have children? Is their going to some sort of gene splicing going on or something?

Have any of the legislators backing this ever taken a Biology class? I'm not against gay or lesbian couples being parents obviously, and know couples like this who are amazing parents. It's not something my partner and I are interested in, but the thing is with same sex couples is that they tend togo into this with very careful planning and usually with a good amount of financial resourses (adoption and surrogacy are very expensive and they have to do this on their own dime). The thing I do have a problem with, is other people having to foot the bill which is what will happen. California is starting to remind me of my 2 year old Beagle, beautiful, but stuck on stupid. (I love my dog to death,btw, but even I have to admit he's dumb as a post).
I still can't figure out why a dedicated non-breeder such as myself even has to pay for HETEROSEXUAL couples to have fertility treatments. Then I have to pay for their kids, too. Shouldn't I get a discount?

That an heterosexual pair with more than one or two children will be told by the state they have more than enough kids and should "share" those children with others who do not have any and don't have the money to adopt nor to get fertilization treatments. Seriously considering the collectivist ideas that are floating around there and that this is being done with money I dont think this is so far fetched.
