On the news tonight, Good old Clown Jerry Brown is now holding the kiddies hostage to his tax increase. A liberal playbook move. He is telling people that if they don't pay his tax increase k-12 schools will be cut 5.5 billion, but if it passes (along with the "temporary" sales tax increase) then schools will be "rewarded" with a budget increase..Otherwise schools will be out 3 weeks sooner. Doesn't matter with the crap they are learning anyway, most of them can not read or write at a 10th grade level and have to spend the first two years in our wonderful college system getting up to speed. California is the American Greece, and the smart ones are fleeing or have fled. I am seriously thinking about tossing my house out the window and moving back to the Midwest where I own another home (inherited)...California is a freaking mess, a liberal utopia...and soon it is going to collapse on itself and take part of America with it. But like I said before when you elect asshats like Brown, you get the goobermint you so richly deserve. The illegals, criminals, and occupoopers can have it, they screwed it up, let them fix it.
He is certainly struck dumb. The higher taxes go, the bigger the deficit. The only reason to raise taxes , which drive down state income, is because the state has no need for all the tax money.

So, the projected California state deficit went from $9.2billion to $16 billion in just five months. The actual deficit will undoubtedly be higher as tax revenues continue to decrease and the state's insane environmental regulations drive even more businesses out of the state.
Governor Brown's response is to recommend "temporary" increases in the state sales tax and the income tax on the "wealthy". If passed, who wants to bet they'll ever be repealed.

Next, stop giving a red cent to the illegals. No free health care, no free education and no food stamps. Cut the union wages and benefits, that will require some balls and back bone. Gov. Moonbeam will need to get a pair and one for this one.
Lastly cut your damn tax rate on businesses and the state income rate. It’s surprising what that will do for the state. I know it flies in the face of the liberal progressives within the state, but give it a try. The results will be a shock.
The foreclosure auction would not be able to be held until the creditors are paid off. They are secured with the state, so I'm expecting Kalifornia to be renamed Eastern China soon enough.
Cutting off benefits to Criminal Trespassers, (they don't like the term illegal alien), and tossing a couple of CEO's in jail for hiring them, would go a long way towards closing this deficit. The rest of it would have to come from good management, so I guess Brown and the rest of the Democrats have to go.
Glad I was able to flee the state in 2010. Now if I could only convince the rest of my family.....
