California Higher-Ed: Regents Deny Critics a Fair Hearing. Well! How dare this professor question the UC Regent’s decisions about propagana courses? Why if we let him get away with this, next he may start questioning things like our competence and obverblown salaries and benefits.

Now now, they can't let something trivial like a quality education get in the way of their agenda.
The California state constitution provides that the University of California (UC) Board of Regents -- the 26-member governing body of the state’s premier university system -- has responsibility to ensure that “the university shall be entirely independent of all political and sectarian influence.”
That ship sailed decades ago!
At least in the late 50's or early 60's for sure.
