• There's a scary notion going around that if Hitlery gets indicted, that Jerry Brown will jump in the race in her place.

• I have said it so many time, these assholes in power think your money is their money....And just imagine if the drooling morons who vote democrat try to elect Batshit Crazy Bernie or Elizabeth Woo Woo Warren? (Hitlery is dead for all intents and purposes) Your money will be taken and reissued to lowlifes who get EBT cards and other government freebies...

• The cesspool in Sacramento has been controlled by the Demoturds since the last election.
  They love to increase taxes and spend other people's money as fast as they can, while increasing their salaries and benefits packages.

• Those of you who have been around IHTM as long as I have will remember I said that confiscation was coming-and it would be piloted/beta tested in a very blue state like NY or California.

• Me and my wife were talking about this last night. We came to the same conclusion you all did. They'll take your money, stuff it into PERS and use it to make up their pension shortfall. Then 20 or 30 years down the road when you want your money they'll say sorry. You can opt out of this but from what I see of people in California many are too dumb to figure it out and they'll opt in for the financial slaughter.

• Disincentive to hard work... purposefully.

• I'm guessing the goal here, long-term, it to rescue the bankrupt state pension system. First they take control of California residents' IRAs, then down the road at some point they say, "Hey, why do we have TWO pots of money we have to invest? Why not merge them and have one pot of money to invest." Voila, the California state pension magically gets a massive influx of money to pay sate retirees the pensions they've been promised. Of course, that's the definition of a Ponzi scheme, but the government doesn't care -- stealing is their pride and joy.

• Look into the background of some broad named Lisa Ghilarducci from the New School. She has been on this train for a very long time, & there are some who only too exited to make this a reality.

• I'm so glad that I high-tailed it outta Kali when I did...the state had been going down the crapper for a long time. Things came together for us at the right time and we were smart enough to see the writing on the wall and leave. I grew up in Kali, but when I came back after my military retirement, it just wasn't home any more...so sad.
