How is the first African-American President a big deal when African-Americans have only been around for a couple of decades? Now, if he was the first NEGRO president, THAT would be a big deal, because Negros were oppressed for a few hundred years.
But how is a black president a big step if, as we are constantly told, it doesn't mean we're not still racist?
