It needs to be put out of its misery and buried so deep no one can find it again.
I don't even understand why the postal service is union? I mean Unions and Government should not be locked step together. I hate government so much and I am now surrounded by socialists in my freaking family that don't understand why government is disgusting. I am so ready for this world to end. I don't even care if people think I am being extremist.
Public sector unions should be illegal. They are a conflict of interest, period.

They can deliver to me twice a week and I'm happy. If my bills come in the mail on time then no sweat. I don't let my personal info go into my PC so I pay by mail ONLY. Hack me Mofo's.
Kill it before it grows, outsource it to UPS or Fed-Ex. But we might have to use the military since postal workers are better armed.
Actually, the constitution does talk about post offices & post roads. The problem is that the USPS is unionized. That's where the cost overruns are.
