Canada to pull out of Kyoto Protocol next month

Canada to pull out of Kyoto Protocol next month. Danger, exploding green head shrapnel incoming: “Canada will be a pariah globally if it goes through with this.” No, Canada is just acknowledging what everybody already knows, Kyoto is a sham.

  • If our friends to the north are really getting their shit together who wants to bet on which border the Obummer will want to close down first? I'm betting on our northern one.

    • I think I might support dickboy if he decided to do that. Having been to the border on both coasts of Canada, it looks really really really middle eastern. Surely he wouldn't make things hard on his muslim brothers....

  • Sure does make Canada a lot more business friendly, not that the liberal pinheads will notice when even more jobs go north of the border.

  • An outbreak of potentially contagious common sense north of the border? The Administration is going to need lots of moats and alligators to prevent this from spreading to our own peasant class, if it hasn't already.

  • In the most recent election, Canada threw out most of their liberal spendthrift loons (there's some redundancies). The Canadians were saying, "We demand that you waste less of our money."
Of course Toronto (many moochers typical of large metro areas) and Ottawa (Canada's Washington) re-elected the usual commies, and they are saying as expected from liberals, "We demand that you waste more of other people's money."
But the sane politicians now outnumber the loons. Canada's future is looking up.

    • You're looking at, and speaking of, the strictly economic side. Canada is far down the tubes socially and culturally, especially with the whole Crimethink vibe, cf Jukin's comment. US citizens have been turned back from the border for carrying the wrong books.

  • I never thought until 0bama and Harper were elected that I would seriously consider moving to Canada. Just look at what the two different leaders and their philosophies have wrought. Canada embraces conservative principles and thrives. the USA adopts hard left socialism and withers.

They fix that whole thought crime kangaroo court and Canada will be much more attractive than the USA and far more attractive than my native kalifornia.

    • I think Canada is too far gone already. I'm looking at the benefits of teaching English in South Korea. At least they have a proper appreciation of the dangers of Communism there, and hey, I might even get the chance to be in a shootin war with some real Reds!

      • You'd be surprised at how far Canada has pulled it's head out of it's collective ass. We spent time there this summer and I was truly surprised at what I found. I think Alec Baldwin would not want to move there, even when Newt wins the election. They haven't completely unf***d things, but they're on the right track. I just spent a week with some French Canadians, same thing. They've been all the way down the path dickboy is taking us on. They on the other hand, were smart enough to turn around.
