And don't forget that Carlos Slim also owns the largest of the free government cell phone companies:

If you want a good Christmas laugh, go over to FreeGovernmentCellPhones.net and check out some of the comments. Hilarious.
I went to the site, and found out that on paper, I qualify for a free Android Smartphone, with unlimited minutes and texts, and 200 mB of data. Granted, that's not a lot of data, but I still don't like the idea of my having to pay for someone else to get it for free. As for me, I think I'll just continue paying for my phone out of my pocket, and preserve what dignity I have left.
I finally go a cell. Still learning it and relying on WiFi fo comm, but eve at that it beats the he dbl hockey stick out of safelink. And I have my dignity. A few weeks on the street and one gains an appreciation for modern tech. PLUS I can do selfies now. So it's a win-win situation. Yay
*YAWN*
WGAF?
Poor Carlos is gonna have to give away less phones and up the prices at his taco trucks...Like I really give a shit whether this guy succeeds or not....
Nice!
Lets hope he closes the NY Slimes to save some money.
Oh,....wouldn't that be just terrible?
*sniff* that is JUST too bad! I guess he will have to do with the other billion dollars he's got left.
Poor guy....gonna have to cut back on a yacht or two.
Too bad. Couldn't happen to a nicer oligarch.
