Laughter erupts when Carney tries to defend Obama’s constant self-promotion as “campaigning for growth and jobs.” If you watch Carney’s face at around the 50 second mark, he hestitates and appears to be attempting to stifle a grin before he utters the line. The man himself obviously does not believe the crap he is saying.

You spin me right round baby right round like a record baby right round round round...
maybe not.
Are you shitting me? The President doesn't get attention like Presidents used to? He's got a sycophantic media covering his every bowel movement, but we don't all know what he's talking about?
He's campaigning for jobs alright, the jobs of everyone in his administration, including himself! He's on the campaign trail on our dime!
His speeches and his bowel movements are the same thing - worthless shit comes out of both ends of this guy.
Yeah, she looks like she's trying not to laugh at what Carney is saying, too.
"He Is campaigning for...uh...uh...uh...oh yeah, growth and jobs. But since we will NEVER get any of that and he knows it, he'll campaign for REELECTION." Yeah, now you got it correct. Shpeel on boy!
No, I suspect that a) that was a prepared comeback because he knew some mean right-winger was gonna suggest it -- I think he's deliberately playing the line there; and 2) he really believes it.
Love the Freudian slip at the 1:03 mark because the president is America's jobs ass!
OK... I don't want to be mean, but he looks so ... so... feminine. Am I the only one that sees this? Like he is Janet Napolitano's little sister or something...
Janet Napolitano looks feminine?
RHG, compared to Rupert from Survivor, she does, BARELY!!
Oh, I didn't get the memo that we were lowering the standards for "feminine looking." I can't keep up with all the lowered standards these days.
In that Keith Richards sense of the word, sure.
In order to avoid offending anyone, the position of WH Press Secretary shall hence forth be filled by a eunuch.
I thought it already had been, for the last 2-1/2 years!
Just heard that Hoyer wants to add even more stimulus spending to this bill. All the leaches are starting to get into the act, I bet they get so greedy that nobody will pass this stinking piece of crap.
Big push on this jobs bill! My understanding is the Dems have yet to introduce the bill in the House. Is he hoping the Republicans are going to do it for him? Surely Nancy would cream herself at the opportunity to roll this pile o' shite onto the floor of the House.
She'll make another big display of it, walking arm in arm with SEIU goons up to the Congress, smiling like a termite infested Howdy Doody puppet, and telling us once again that "we need to pass the bill to see what's in it"!
When Dems make a big deal about HAVING to pass a bill, it's a good sign that it's a bill that shouldn't be passed.
Obama can campaign for his jobs program on every street corner in America, but it won't do him any good.
His problem is that everyone who has ever run so much as a lemonade stand knows that his plan won't grow a potato, much less a job. The. Government. Cannot. Create. A job.
Let's say that I have a full tank of gas (20 gallons). Obama taxes me half my tank in order to create new gallons of gas at the State governments. But, Obama has to charge shipping and handling of 4 gallons to run the federal government. So he then gives the remaining 6 gallons to the State governments.
Did that process create a single new gallon of gas? Of course not. Becasue the government can only take wealth from the private sector and move it to the government sector. It can't create anything because it can't make a profit. It can only spend.
Think about it.
Worse, I'm stuck with having to find a way to replace the 10 gallons Obama took. Where is that going to come from?
This bill is going nowhere but because it doesn't do anything.
Well, here's your problem, you're thinking in terms of gasoline. Now, if you ran your car on solar panels, the force of a herd of unicorns farting in tandem would create a wind that would move your car anywhere in the world, tax free! Only a stupid anti-science raaaaacist oil-company shill like myself doesn't want to believe stuff like that, but experts at big scientific companies like the NY Times who talk loudly at cocktail parties will tell you Obama can make it happen. (FAAAAAAAART!) See, there it goes now!
What a killjoy. Applying logic to things .... ;)
