Carnival: No reimbursement to US for disabled ship. So why doesn’t the US tell Carnival to immediately remove their broken down wreck of a ship from Mobile, Alabama and also tell them no tickee no dockee at US ports until it’s paid? Perhaps Heinz supplies their condiments.

I am not using Carnival ever again. I advise other to do the same. Not going to say the entire industry is crazy but Carnival has become lazy and disgusting and it is time for it to go bankrupt or completely change and do what is right.
The Carnival owner has become filthy rich selling cruises to all and sundry. But they have not kept up their end of the bargain; The press only got interested after one of their Captains managed to shipwreck one of their vessels on a clear and calm night, grandstanding for some uppity up. The line SHOULD have to reimburse the Coast Guard. This wasn't a flash in the pan problem the Coast Guard could take care of on the way to or while engaging in their regular duties. If this moron who is cutting corners on maintence, care and cleaning of his fleet then he shold pay the price when something goes wrong and they require unusual levels of assistance from the US or anyother country. I wonder how screwed up things are in the Med, where they have 1 chance to roll theirmonstrocity into position for salvage. Idiot all.
So, Sen Jay "One Way" Rockefeller wants them to pay for the help they got, but won't credit them for all the times they assisted the Coast Guard?
