• At least Krauthammer actually said the truth this time. He's a very smart man but he is also a member of the inside the beltway Republicans. He feels that those of us from the outside have no clue. As for the speech, what did anyone expect from barry.

  This proposal: My bet is that he knows that the reps in congress will oppose this on principle. He hopes they do. He's planning on it The purpose of this proposal is not an economc stimulus, to create jobs, or anything else of that nature. It is solely to set the reps up to get the blame for an economy Obama now knows full well will not recover in time for re-election. This is plan B.

  Business people have told everyone who has ears why there is no hiring. Yet this character in the WH is repeating the same BS we got when the last stimulus bill was proposed - "create jobs, put people to work, an economic shot in the arm, yada yada yada". They already have the ad production people lined up ready to pull quotes out of context.

  And then he'll say the reps are the ones are putting politics before the good of the country.
