Chevy to Recall Over 4,000 Cars to Check for Missing Brakes. We guess having one lemon called the Chevy Volt just wasn’t enough for Government Motors.

So, I'm driving down the Freeway in my new Chevy Volt at 65 mph (if it goes that fast) and check my rear view mirror to find that the ass end of the car is on fire. I signal to get over to the right and pull over, and I have no brakes. What a fun car!
gives new meaning to the phrase "Hell on wheels."
No, their just trying to explain why all those volts have been catching on fire.
The morons working for Gubment Motors were probably so loaded off the booze, pot, pills and whatever they could ingest that they totally "FORGOT" to assemble the brakes properly. But idiots are still buying thier cars. 'Sonic' as in they forgot to put any meat on the burger. I'll never buy one of thier vehicles again. They're assembling death traps now. And you can bet DOT/ DOL/ DOE/ EPA and all the rest will have OBlowme pass a regulations that no one can sue for wrongful death or injuries. Fking communist bastards.
I concur, likwid. I have some die-hard chevy fans (friends) who continue to buy Chevy's crap to this day. If I was in the market I'd put my money on Ford. They took no bail-out money that I'm aware of, and their new EcoBoost V-6 F150 that took Truck of the year is a great vehicle. 2nd choice would be Honda or Acura. I know--They're not made in America, but they make quality products. I kept telling my friends that when America starts building cars with this quality and reliability I'll buy one.
I agree totally. Yes there are some products that are not American but the 'quality' is great. Quality is what built this country at one time.
Be nice to the Union Brothers. They got so stressed during brake pad installation day that they had to go out in the parking lot during lunch to have a few joints and beers to calm down. I wonder whose shift decided that they didn't need these extra parts on their $40,000 POS. No disciplinary action will be done, I'm sure.
No, the UAW is what was bailed out, NOT GM. GM is now a gov't/union owned company producing cars nobody wants, & no, they have not paid off their bailout loans yet.
And never will.

Look for the union label
When you are buying a car that won't stop.
Remember somewhere our union's toking
our dues are going to feed the Prez and run the WhiteHouse,
We suck hard but who's complaining.
Thanks to the Govt. You're paying our way.
So, always look for the union label,
it says we're able
to make a mock'ry of the U.S.A.
apologies to Paula Green.
How do you run a company and forget to put brakes in 4000 cars? Goberment motors is such a fine company...NOT
Wonder if the "fix" will be to give every owner an anchor to toss out the window and stop the car.
...or cut holes in the floor board so they can stop Fred Flintstone style!
