Actress Ashley Judd and Defenders of Wildlife Action Fund have teamed up to target Alaska Governor Sarah Palin’s environmental record. They’re upset because Palin allegedly promotes the aerial killing of wolves in Alaska.
“It is time,” Judd says, “to stop Sarah Palin and stop this senseless savagery.”
We have a deeply held belief that all disputes should be settled through civil discourse. To advance that cause, we believe the only way for Judd and Palin to resolve their dispute is a mud wrestling match. We’ll referee.

Regarding mntx's comment about caribou. The main reason they are killing the wolves is to increase the caribou herds so more HUNTERS can go and kill the caribou! It's the hunters that don't like wolves or caribou!!! Hey, I have an idea. Why don't we have a hunting season on HUNTERS? Sounds great to me!
Thanks, Ashley! I'm totally against this cruelty, and am astonished, gobsmacked that my tax dollars goes towards this evil. So for those who are truly ignorant of facts, Alaska gets $2.00 back for every $1.00 it sends to the IRS. It takes someone who is valiant, courageous, and plucky to take on such a repugnant task.

So; Ashley is ok with killing unborn babies (freedom of choice) and going after George Bush, but not ok with killing animals, who are considered predators by many! Like most in the "Hollywood" LaLa Land, she should concentrate on her chosen career and leave Politics to those who are better informed.
I really liked this young lady from day one and have watched her career but this really put a sour taste in my mouth about her. I resent people who have the public forum at their disposal to rant and rave about their beliefs but others have to pay for the time to speak, if they can find a network who will let them in.

Alot of people are missing the point entirly. DEFENDER OF WILD LIFE and Judd are talking about the WAY of killing, not thinning out a population of certain animals.
Many HUNTERS belong to DEFENDERS of WILD LIFE...because they ARE real HUNTERS with balls and stuff.
Not Dick Cheny CANNED HUNTS or maiming, shattering bones and letting wolves bleed to death in pain, exhausted after a GOOD LENGTH OF TIME in panic, YOU KNOW LIKE PALIN ADVOCATES.
THIS NOT WHAT HUNTERS DO, it´s what SERIAL KILLERS DO.
If Sarah wants to be PREZNIT, she may have to understand that we are not all going to bend to her will. No, THRILL KILL Sarah, it´s wrong, if you want to teach your kids to shoot fish in a barrel, do it in your backyard. It would be a much cleaner KILL there.
