Chris Christie: Warren “Tax Me” Buffett should just write a check and shut up

Chris Christie: Warren “Tax Me” Buffett should just write a check and shut up. Yeah, but what Warren and the rest of the “patriotic millionaires” don’t tell you is that they profit when everyone’s taxes go up. They’re happy to personally write a check for 10% more in that scenario because the gubbermint spending machine will throw that and a lot more back to them. But if they are the only ones writing the checks…. what’s the point?

Bonfire of the Absurdities: After 35 year career writing software for IBM mainframes, am now self-employed contractor thinking of joining a union and striking for higher wages. Cured morbid fear of heights when I learned to look at them as lengths standing on end. Uncompromising in refusal to accept browser cookies. Amateur investor who has accumulated a small fortune in the market after starting out years ago with a large one. • "But if they are the only ones writing the checks…. what’s the point?"

    Fine.

Then I'll gladly settle for just the "shut up" part.

  • Buffet is nothing more then lying scum, he's so cheap I bet he goes for tax credits on campaign cask to "Dear Leader", under charitable donations.

    • I hope this is gathering the same penalties and interest that we peon's would be getting if we owed something, or if the IRS decided we owed something.

  • No, Warren cannot write a check. His over-taxed, $200K/year secretary will do it for him then stamp his name.
