‘Christian Nation’ by Frederic C. Rich: Frederic C. Rich is some guy that wrote a book about how a fictional Sarah Palin Presidency led to the ascendance of an authoritarian regime that oppressed certain citizens, destroyed the Constitution and in general subverted dissent and civil liberties at every turn and occasion. Which sounds very much like the Obama administration with the very major exception that the latter is not fictional at all. On a positive note, however, with a grand total of seventeen comments on this book’s Amazon page it would seem that while undeniably an idiot Mr. Rich is not very useful at all.

On November 5, 2005, the movie "V For Vendetta" was to be released. It portrayed the rise of a Christian dictatorship in England. But the movie's premiere was pushed into March 2006 after Muslims bombed the London subway on July 7, 2005. Poor liberalism. It always seems to eventually run into reality.

I said, "Really? Because if the front bumper of my car protrudes into the crosswalk, a robot camera takes a picture of my license plate and I will have a week's pay confiscated by the state. Everything you write online - and who knows? maybe even not online! - is recorded by machines and stored for later reading, just in case you suddenly fall out of favor with the state. Who has given us the worst surveillance state in history? The church? No, pal, it was scientists. Everything they talk about for the future is even worse: black boxes to record everything your car does and every place it goes, RFID tags for every citizen, DNA database, etc. And it will all come to pass. Nothing will be deemed 'too much' or 'over the line,' because there is no line. We've all been sold down the river by scientists."
But the liberal fear novel is about Christianity? Wow. Nice how their worst fear is that we would "fall" into a place where Christianity would be as prominent in daily life as it was at the time of the nation's founding.
So now they have their very own "Turner Diaries." Much good may it do them.
That's all OK, because they're only using technology to spy on us, and control us to keep people from doing wrong things. Religion is trying to use people's feelings to keep them from doing wrong.

When the US was "pretty much" (imperfect) a Judeo-Christian nation all the freedoms and Constitution were created. People hate on Bush and make fun of him for being a Christian but I do not recall Muslims being put in concentration camps as people feared he would do, in fact Muslims got a great deal of protection in this country. These people are disgusting and stupid. Get rid of all practicing Christians and Jews in this Planet and I bet you all hell will literally break loose. These people will be the first to die or be persecuted at the hands of Muslims the moment Islam takes over. Idiots all.
It's called projecting. Tell the story of your group, but make it look like the opposition is doing it.

Remember how they all said Reagan was just a great communicator because he was an actor. Basically saying there is no "there" there - he's only popular because he acts and talks a certain way.

I might consider reading this book if there were a part where Progressives were all rounded up, confined in a large warehouse, and forced to listen to each other whine and complain about everything all day long. Oh,wait... never mind...we already have the California Legislature.
