Christian student quits school choir in protest at song ‘praising Allah.’ I think there would be a lot of outrage if we made a Muslim choir say Jesus Christ is the only truth.’ If that happened CAIR would be pulling out all the stops. A great deal of choral music was composed for the religion of the region. I sang parts of the Rig Veda in my college touring choir. We were focused on the music, thought the wording was never this obvious. It was beautiful. The student was offered the opportunity to stay in choir and refrain from singing that particular song. He chose to quit altogether. So I really feel he has an ageda far beyond just not wanting to sing in praise of Alla (which I would not do either.) And no, If a Muslim was forced to sing to Jesus, I doubt that CAIR would stand for it. But he wasn't forced!

This kid deserves a medal. Anything that praises the (not a religion) Theocracy called islam should be removed from all schools in America. The muslim called muhamad was a self confessed murderer, thief, drunk and pedifile.

Uhm... that is indeed interesting regardless of the hate and the Crusades talk and all of that the foundation was NOT based on wars and bloodshed. In fact even when G-d asked Abraham to sacrifice his son, He still intervened and disallowed it (it was a testing phase only). As for Christianity, Jesus didn't come on a white horse a flaming sword to kill everyone that did not believe in Him in fact HE was the VICTIM of murder and cruelty. Abraham for all intentions and purposes was just some dude and the Israelites were slaves. Nothing special about the Jews, not potent and warring folks (without G-d). Christ is awesome and meek, powerful yet humble. Mohammed was all about power no humility, all about war not peace, all about (sexual) potency to the point of taking the wives of others, even his own stepson. He was gross and he is dead, while the Trinity is Just and True and Alive. For all intentions and purposes Judaism and Christianity were founded by the Deity Himself, not by a human being and most definetly NOT encouraged by an angel. A true angel of G-d is great and fantastic, but still an angel. No true angel would dare do what Mohammed claimed the angel did. If I was Gabriel I would sue Mohammed for slander and misuse of image. Perhaps the one to sue is actually the devil. As far as I am concerned Islam was founded by the devil.
I want this kid to push ahead in music. He wants to sing & perform, & now the school in being PC & softselling islam in a very subversive manner. He does'nt ned the school to sing, he can do it in church if he wants, or start something on his own. I actually do like some "middle eastern" style music, & it does show up in bands like Rainbow & one of my favorites, Lacuna Coil. But that is about the tone & style of the music, not about promoting Islam as being harmless.
This is sad. Makes me wonder how far in the future are we away from having a revolution against a world cult and possibly a race that Obama is trying very hard to help turn against this country, besides the polititions(1%).
The school choir should be singing secular songs. If the choir was part of a Christian association or group, it would be ludicrous to include an Islamic song. If the choir was of another religion it would be foolish to ask them to sing Christian songs. In this case this is a public school choir, they should not sing religious music not any religion OR else they should make sure to ask the parents if certain songs can be song with religious undertones and give parents/students a chance to decide if it is appropriate or not, however I got to be real this just seems like someone is wanting to push the envelope. I am sure this person would not have allowed the choir to sing Christmas carols not even during Christmas.
