• How the hell did Kathlene Blanco & Ray Nagin escape being a big part of the problem? I know Bush is a dumbass, but he could only do something if asked by the Governor of a state, in this case, Blanco, & since he was a former Governor himself, & his dad was the President, George W. Bush understands what the a-holes in the MSM & the left don't. What you are allowed to do & when as President.

  • Because they are Democrats and Ray is Black, in a town predominately Black. CLearly they could NOT have been any part of the problem (removing tongue from cheek)

• THe complaint about bush "ignoring" katrina comes from 2 major sources. The fact he flew over New Orleans, rather than actually setting down and physically walking the area, and the slow response of FEMA and the National Guard. I am not sure where he was supposed to land in AF-1 since the airport was under water, and even if the airport had a clear spot to land, there was no transportation through the flooded areas that would have allowed bush to personally inspect the area. As for the National Guard, people have forgotten that initially New Orleans said it was fine, they had dodged the bullet, since the hurricane had come ashore in Mississippi. Later when some communication was restored, the flooding and devastation that caused became available. The GOVERNOR has to agree for the President to send troops to her state. And initially she would not agree, because it would have meant her giving up control of the situation, and she was unwilling to do that for nearly a week.
  approximately 6 weeks later, a huricane hit Galveston, wiped Bolivar Point off the map, and they got NOTHING. Minimal assistance, no FEMA, no National guard. And they too are rebuilt and carrying on as usual.

• I wonder if "Dear Leader" can be pried away from his kissing overseas Hollywood butt long enough to visit the disaster area. Not talking about the Gulf Coast, I'm talking about doing his job in Washington DC.

• The Donks are hoping for Katrina II, losing New Orleans is a small price to pay for dragging Bush (and, by extesnion, Romney) through mire and taking attention away from the Republican converntion.

• Obama tried to send Biden his top blow hard to Tampa to ruin the RNC - God sent a bigger blow hard, Isaac, to keep him away. It's a theory.

• New Orleans was (is) a cesspool because during Katrina the state and local response was such a disaster FIRST. Oh but wait - they had a female democratic governor and a black mayor....GEE, who will the media blame - the republican white guy...Florida had five category 3 or 4 hurricanes in the year surrounding Katrina - most people can't name one. That's because the state and local communities knew how to manage the situation - instead of looting, raping and sitting in squalor.

  • Ray Nagin does not have the sense God gave little green apples. New Orleans had been warned what would happen if even a category 3 hurricane hit, and the government geniuses ignored every single thing they were told. And of course, Ray was re-elected AFTER Katrina, which shows the IQ of most of the New Orleans voters. Look at Mississippi, where the hurricane actually HIT, and all their stuff is cleaned up, rebuilt, and back to business as usual. New Orleans has received Billions of dollars, yet is still full of trash, condemned buildings, and empty lots. And a fair number of its former residents are in other cities, increasing the crime rates there. You can correct ignorance. You CANNOT fix stupid. That's permanent.

  • Don't even try to be logical! That's ra-a-a-a-a-a-cist, And sexist!

    • Even the black mayor ended up being reprimanded for his theft of legally owned firearms from citizens trying to protect themselves.

• As compared to the stench of Obama that hangs over the entire country now? These morons are never gonna give up, Blame Bush for everything...Must be tough when the only thing you can run for re-election is the last guy who had the office...
