CNN regular and political strategist: Chicago gun violence the fault of the GOP [VIDEO]. Republicans in Washington, DC are the problem? Where’d they find this loon? How about the gangs? Chicago’s largest gang, the Democrats, have run Chi Town since 1927. Then how about the estimated 6,400 gangbangers within the city limits? Oh no, they just couldn’t be the problem now, could they?

What's amazing about Zimmerman's comment is that the GOP has nothing to do with running Chicago & has'nt for a long time.

In Chicago, Obama and the democrats do not mention nor act on the crime and gun violence on purpose. It occurs largely in majority black areas. The dems have used police enforcement in black areas as a racial stick to beat their opposition when some unfortunate incident happens. They have hyped this up and made the people in these areas feel like victims of police brutality. One of their tools to achieve power. So when they are in charge, they simply cannot take a chance on any firm police enforcement of laws as there might be a similar incident and they might get blamed. It might backfire. Cause THEM problems. The racist charge must only be leveled at their opposition. Their solution is to ignore the problem and have their media friends ignore it too. Sorry black folks, the party is more important. Nothing more important than the democrat party's image. Nothing. You live in crime and your children die so the party can look good.
If by some miracle a republican, or better yet a Tea Party candidate would be elected mayor, then it could be safely reported. There would be an instantaneous change. Every speech, every newscast would mention the high crime rate. 24/7 coverage of the rampant crime would be the norm. A daily tally of every murder. Marches for justice, weeping relatives on the news, etc., etc. Uncaring conservatives would be to blame the instant they came into office, with no mention of the 70+ years of democrat rule and criminal indifference to the problem.
Okay, let me get this straight. Federal budget cuts, which haven't occured yet (and may not occur) are responsible for current gun crime, bad schools and poverty in Chicago. Thanks, Mr. Zimmerman for piece of partisan bullsh*t. It's a sad, pathetic excuse for 85 years of Democrat machine misrule.
Not just the current crime rate, but also any past crime.
