To people saying the image comparison is from a questionable source, your point is moot. Do a google search on mercer and look at the images returned. 90% of them are lighter than his own posting and you see numerous pictures of his father and none of his mother. Add to that that the LA Times tried to paint him as a white supremist while his social media accounts reflect his admiration of the fired black reporter that killed his white co workers on tv. His black mother had the obsession with guns. But if he was killed by a cop before he committed the crime, he images would have been darkened, pictures of his mother would replace those of his father, black lives matter would be calling death threats into the home of the officer and Al Sharpton and his riot machine would have pulled into town long ago.

Oh and in Brittain they show his white father and mention his admiration for the IRA multiple times each article. Their political correctness has a slightly different agenda than ours.

There's no evidence that CNN did that photoshopping. It was someone claiming that he saw it. It all sounds very fishy.
CNN is claiming they never showed a picture of the guy, which in itself is weird. Why wouldn't they? They showed pictures of Zimmerman 24 hours a day. Clearly they didn't want people to know it was a black guy, and in that light you can see where they might try to lighten his skin.
Well, they were buying into the sheriff's jive about not giving him the posthumous fame and glory he was craving, is what I would think. That, and not wanting to show that it =was= a black guy, at least not until they had trial-ballooned the concept of a "white Negro."
PS -- ALL linky sites are stepping back from the validity of the pics, although none have taken them down or outright retracted the CNN allegation.
