Correct! Most reasonable people can laugh at the jokes about their party as long as there are some jokes about the opposition. Since letterman can't seem to figure this out, I haven't bothered with him for about twenty years. I don't miss him at all. Same with saturday night live.

This book seems to say what I have been thinking for years. Nothing like a bit of self-gratifying confirmation bias but, hey, it looks like it will be a good read next time I fly.
