Company releases new bacon-flavored condoms. Well, someone had to say it. This gives whole new meaning to the term ‘getting porked.’

      • Uhm... yes. Yes I do. I am quite sure I will like the other thing being essentially discussed here, but not sure about the two of them together. Overall... ok this will sound a bit gross and I apologize but why would I (if in a monogamous and healthy relationship) want to have this? The only reason to have this FLAVORED is because well *ahem* well... you know... and well like I said if in a monogamous and healthy relationship that is just so not appetizing nor necessary if you understand what I am trying to say here. I really can't get too intimate here I feel I need to be having this conversation with a husband or at least a fiancee. :-/

        • I completely understand Kimmy, that is where I thought your comment was going, but didn't want to assume or embarrass, which is why I went the direction I did with my question.
I understand your comment here, and wondered why it would be used in a committed relationship, but maybe some just don't like the taste of the result, but want to make their partner happy.

          • That is interesting. However let's be truthful bacon per se isn't necessarily something that many women are in a hurry to eat as much as possible it seems to me that the bacon flavor is more about the man than the woman. Since uhm... I am assuming that the purpose of it being flavored so is for what you say, then why not make it a flavor that is more female-centered like chocolate (as an example)?

          • I think its mostly a gag item KQ.. i wouldn't expect anyone gets heavy use out of them beyond initial laughs

I'd bet a grand that the chocolate products you imagine already exist.. and agreed, much more apropos

          • A "gag" item... touchay.

Well I haven't researched these issues extensively at this point in time, but I suppose that you are probably right that what I speak of does exists. :-)

          • lol i had originally written gag gift.. then i changed because i imagined a couple buying it together..

I wasn't clever enough to think "gag" though

          • Yes of course, but why *ahem* encase the situation within the monogamous relationship?... that is why it is a bit uhm... well odd. Then also why encase it in such a flavor that is not necessarily something that I and I am wagering most women wouldn't necessarily think about when asked about a favored flavor under normal circumstances...

  • I think we should all pitch in, buy a train load of these things, then send them to the Middle East. I wonder if goats would like to get porked with a bit of bacon flavored rubber?

  • Let's go back to my place and chew the fat.

How about that! An inside the pork home run!

Now you really can be a sexist pig.

  • I keep telling people, the pork sellers have the best salesmen on the planet. Everything has bacon or bacon flavoring now. EVERYTHING. Drives me crazy. My favorite doughnut place has bacon-and-maple flavored doughnuts. WTF? To truly comprehend how irritating that is you have to know they ONLY HAVE THREE KINDS: chocolate covered, cinnamon and sugar, and the aforementioned monstrosities. Sheesh. Bacon flavored milk shakes, bacon on all the burgers, gimme a break from all this MFing bacon! Every time I eat at Applebee's I get pissed because the salads are COVERED IN BACON. Hard, nasty, concrete-like bits of bacon. It's like chewing pebbles from my driveway. Last weekend I went to a fancy restaurant and spotted a bacon-flavored martini on the fruity drink list. I immediately told the waitress, "If you bring me a salad - or anything else - with bacon in it, your tip will be zero." I'm going to get a business card that says that and hand it out whenever I eat in a restaurant.
