Not to mention self-defense against robbers, muggers, house invaders and the never ending list of crazy people lately.

During the Civil Rights fight. It was the NRA who stood up for those having their rights violated. It was the NRA who provided the firearms so that the black community was able to defend themselves and to fight back against the racists bigots of the dip shit party.

Arguments from personal experience are hard to refute, but that won't stop the Left from claiming that Sec. Rice was somehow brainwashed by white conservatives.
