  • Bye, Bye Ben, it's been nice knowing you. This election cycle isn't about who to vote for, it's all about who not to vote for.

      • He has caught up in a couple states....And I saw a story today about Trump and Carson kinda of getting along, possibly an alliance in the making?

    • Good point. It is also why I had to unsubscribe from emails from Rand Paul. He was getting annoying.

  • Too late for me to scratch him, that happened months ago. Although I like him better than Jeb, Spineless Lindsey, and Huck the Joke.

  • Dr Carson made this statement is enough to scratch him off. Even if he made it two years ago, it proves he doesn't under stand what the Constitution is about. He should be in favor of more armed individuals in the inner cities to combat the criminals that are running all through it.

  • Ben is a nice guy, smart, well educated, but I think being president might overwhelm him. I think maybe the surgeon general's position in a republican administration, give him some experience and then turn him loose after he has gotten some experience.

  • I like the guy as a person, and he does like smacking down Barky, but president? NAH! Surgeon General? YEA!

    I still don't think Trump is the answer, but at least he is making the right kind of noise. Maybe he can chance my mind.

  • Like most of the political class, I'm guessing he has no idea that "semi-automatic" means you get one bullet with each trigger pull. He's visualizing John Dillinger with a tommy-gun. Another dumb-ass know-nothing.

    • This is actually the case. I had a chance to talk to Dr. Carson personally about this.

      He grew up in Detroit, one of the most dangerous cities in the country. No dad, never went shooting, only heard from the anti-gun media about all the bad things guns did. Johns Hopkins is super liberal as well, and the medical community is not known for their understanding of guns, most only see the worst case scenarios when it relates to them.

      From his last appearance on Beck (Several months ago) “Early on, when I entered the political arena and I was asked the question about guns, I didn’t know at that time that you always start that off by saying how important the Second Amendment is and that you will never compromise that. Instead, I started out talking about something that concerned me a lot and that was having dangerous weapons in the hands of mentally-ill people and where that was most likely to occur. That was simply a matter of political inexperience,” Carson continued. “It has nothing to do with the fact that, I think the reason we still have our freedom is because of the Second Amendment.”

    • He's not OF the political class, to my knowledge. One of the things I like about him.

  • Too many liars come and go and the scene seems to be repeating where the next big hope proves ultimately to be a product of the false hope industry.
