Well I dunno what could be more stupid than that link. Although we know it best as the jihadi battle cry, it IS a very common expression in casual conversation, and does not necessarily signify anything nefarious, any more than if the last words recorded were "Jesus Christ!".
And to just to ram the point home, the OMITTED bit that the story is getting so worked up over actually supports this interpretation: that it IS a very common thing to hear on black boxes (with Arabic speaking pilots, I think we assume). Of course hearing the tone and expression of a voice is indispensable; I'm sure there's an obvious difference between those words cried out as a jihadi or muttered over and over in terror, like "OhmyGodOhmyGodOhmyGod."
Bottom line -- stupid article, mod FAIL. watch your inbox for a couple of tips on real stories I just sent your way.
Based upon previous jihad performances they yell that about every time they commit violence, I'll go with the odds for now.
Admittedly, knowing how it was said might make a difference, but I doubt it was said calmly or in a panic, like he was surprised.
