Cory Booker made $689K from law firm holding big city contracts

Mayor Cory Booker made $689,500 from law firm holding big city contracts. Modern bribery is cleaner and easier than old-fashioned briefcases full of cash – what they do now is say the payments are part of a perfectly innocent “separation agreement” and the dirty politician gets elected to the U.S. Senate anyway.

  • Whats the big deal? Any fool knows that if you are going to do a large contract with a state or large city, you have to include the usual kickbacks to the politicians or you wont even be considered. Same with the Feds or GSA. Payup er donate, or face endless audits.

  • The last good thing to come out of New Jersey was.....ah, um...Oh hell never mind, nothing good every came out of New Jersey....especially politicians...These New jersey politicians make the Mob Guys look like amateurs....

(Before you get upset I'll give you Bruce Springsteen but he is still a liberal....)

          • I never did. The Boss is nothing more then Howard Zinn with a Fender Telecaster. Makes me feel better about never giving him 1 damn cent. He' s a phony, he's huge, but he's still a phony.

      • But your not a politician, Although if we ran on the "Old Guys Rule" ticket I bet we could get elected....all we would have to do is promise to punch Nancy Pelosi in the face and kick Boehner in the balls...I bet we get 110 percent of the vote..:)

  • Okay, seriously here. I can't tell.
Is he a white guy passing as black, or a black guy passing as white?

I suppose I could just look it up, but I really don't care enough to waste the time.
As an afterthought, I suppose he could be a mulatto passing as a scumbag.

  • It's just New Jersey politics. Hell Corzine made off with millions of investors dollars and not a single indictment or reprimand.

All the fools voted for him in Newark and now he wants to be US Senator from NJ. He will fit right in with the rest of the sleaz bags from Jersey.
