This is truly self subjugation of the highest order. On O'Reilly, the number he put out was 91% of the blacks murdered were committed by other blacks. If that's a myth, I would really hate to see the reality.
That's always the problem with stats, figuring out who's cherry picking and who isn't. I tried to look up crime stats last year after seeing 'the top ten violent cities in America!' on some page. Chicago, New York, L.A. and Washington DC weren't on the list, and after two hours of NOT being able to find the stats, figured out that they just weren't in the database we had up from the FBI. The end result is that even if a number is 100% legitimate, 75% of the folks seeing it won't believe it, or automatically assume it's been massaged.

One thing I keep in mind whenever I see 'statistics' spouted in the media (like "90% of America wants more gun control") is something my statistics professor said day 1 of class. He said "75% of all statistics are bullshit."
Most of the class didn't get the irony of that simple statement.
I'd suggest he visit Oakland. Hang out around 85th and International Blvd. I doubt it will take him very long to find out first hand about black's killing blacks. 98th and A works, too. That's where my step-daughter's boyfriend was shot about 30 times.

I wonder what the stats are for white-black on black crimes or white-chinese on black crimes or white-muslim on black crimes? I've only heard of one white-hispanic on black crime and he was found innocent.

I have read on the internet that of the 600+/- black murders in Chicago since George Zimmerman shot Martin there has not been a single arrest. Like the media this is too good to check so I won't and just fling it against the wall.

I hope this idiot and his leftist promoters at the Daily Beast go for an evening stroll somewhere like the south side of Chicago, or out in East St. Louis. Unarmed of course since guns are banned there. The people they don't believe exist with guns they aren't allowed to have will readily find them and a random crime of convenience is likely to occur once more. Maybe, just maybe, in their final dying moments, these Koolaid drinkers would see the truth for themselves.

Yeah, the line that separates statistics and data can be fuzzy, even confusing to some. I wonder if anyone has tried to explain the difference to him. Heck, I bet this lad would be be screaming inequality if white on white crime were 94% and black on black was 86%!
90% of 10 crimes is qualitatively different than 90% of 1,000 crimes. It's the same percentage but doesn't tell the story... which is why you can safely take a walk down Michigan Avenue at night (no mater what your race) but don't cross the street into South Chicago.
Let's not forget that 82% of all statistics are made up on the spot... :)
And the remaining 16% are inaccurate.

If I'm not mistaken, because sometimes I am, isn't black-on-black crime one of the highest crime statistics in the FBI's little black book of statistical criminal facts? The evidence is there and this dim wit wants to got out in public and say and write something to the contrary, even though the facts are screaming otherwise.
First, Data from 2011 (FBI): Total white murders 3,172, 2,630 committed by whites, 448 committed by blacks. Total black murders 2695, 193 committed by whites, 2447 committed by blacks.

Second, Latest census put the black population at 13% and whites are 72% of the USA population. If we normalize the above data there would be an equivalent of 72/13=5.5 and the normalized black homicides would be 14,465 white murder equivalents or almost 6 times as many black on black murders than white on white murders.
Third, a white person is more than twice as likely to be killed by a black than a black being killed by a white. If we normalize this statistic blacks kill 11 times more white people than white people kill black people.
Yes there is a tremendous black on black homicide problem. This is not a myth. There is also a huge problem of black on white murder.

What he did was point out that while most blacks are victimized by other blacks, the same is true for whites. What he failed to mention was the much higher rate of crime for blacks. Liberals simply do not comprehend numbers. The language of numbers might as well be Greek as far as they're concerned.
