If they used the app to find a sketchy neighborhood for the story, it worked better then advertised. Whoever designed the app should be awarded the Nobel prize for technological innovation & it does exist...

Years ago there was a race riot in Minneapolis over some damn grievance or another. Of course the media was all over it, exactly where anyone with a brain wouldn't have been. In one crew the camera man and talking head chick got the shit beat out of them. (Another crew filmed it) I thought that was hilarious and think this DC incident is hilarious. Maybe these arrogant morons will think twice about the "free pass" being media gives them.

This happens to news people in Oakland frequently. I haven't looked, but I'd assume the whole city is on the sketchy list.
That's one of the reasons the Raiders are looking to leave again.

Hell why is this news? We are all getting robbed by those in DC.
If you are stupid enough to be in parts of the District that everyone tells you it's not safe. You deserve to get robbed.
