DEMOCRAT Illinois governor up for re-election facing criminal probe. Must be something in the water there… something like untraceable cash in paper bags.

That is a requirement in the land of Illinois...
Illinois Criminal code, Section BS12-091.41 (a)
"Any and all prospective office holders and candidates for any political office in the State of Illinois, it's cites and towns, must have met the following requirements:
Been convicted of a class 1 felony such as bribery, corruption, or extortion.
Registration as a child molester, or sexual abuse of farm animals will count as only 50 percent of the aforementioned requirement.
Convictions for weapons offences, murder or manslaughter meet the requirement for political candidates for the City of Chicago only.
And they wonder why 43 percent of the state wants to leave.

I would, if I could trick someone into buying my home.
Why don't they just take the Illinois governor straight to prison directly from the inauguration. It'd save a lot of time and taxpayer money.
Here in Illinois, our governors retire to "Gated Communities" after office.
They have their own wing at Stateville.
They are going for a hat trick.
Is it not a requirement that Illinois governors go to prison?
I thought they came from prison, got elected, and then went back to prison. Or is that just Marion Barry in DC?
More of them probably should be cons, or ex-cons.
